Operator mentions in notes

Сommunicate with your team without a third-party messenger

What are mentions?

The mentions feature allows you to draw team members' attention to important questions or quickly transfer conversations for collaboration. It's a great tool if you need to:

  • seek advice on a complex issue;
  • point out important information for another operator or employee from another department;
  • draw attention to key data in a conversation;
  • leave a comment on the conversation processing.

How to use mentions

  1. Create a note in the conversation.
  2. Enter the symbol to call a drop-down list of employees. You can select a team member from the list or start typing the name manually (search is possible by both internal and external names):
  3. Select the desired team member and they will receive a mention notification.

Important: notes can be left in any conversation and won't be displayed on the client side.

Where do I find my mentions?

  • All mentions addressed to you will be displayed in a separate conversation channel with the sign, which is located at the top of the channel list.
  • This will help you quickly find the conversations that require your attention first.

Mention notifications

Mentioned team members are automatically notified of a new mention. Notifications are enabled by default for everyone.

To turn off notifications

  • Go to "Personal account settings"
  • Or in the "Team members" section, turn off notifications for specific employees.
