Configuring messages for a specific type of device
You can implement sending auto messages for required devices via segmentation by the Device type property and its values:
- pc
- mobile
- tablet
The Device type property is recorded by the system automatically, so you do not need to configure it additionally. The property value will indicate one of three options: pc (if the user entered the site from a desktop device), mobile (a mobile device), and tablet (if the user is viewing your site from a tablet).
ā Such segmentation could be used for sending any manual or auto message.
Cases of using
Let's say you want to set up a pop-up for all users who have entered the website from a mobile device. The condition at the Audience step for such pop-up will be like:
